Think of it like if you’d ask them their relationship status. Finn would say he’s dating Ano, and Ano would say it’s an open relationship. She knows Finn wouldn’t turn down the opportunity to fuck any other girl, which she can live with, considering she’s kinda doing the same thing. Hell, Ano has a bit of a crush on his older sister, Koi.

They clearly have feelings for each other, but there isn’t any commitment from either of them in the present day. In the future, however, Finn and Ano mature some more, and do officially become boyfriend & girlfriend.

TLDR; not reeeeally, tho you’re kinda right about the really pent up at their ages.
